...just sayin’, of ALL the options of a horrible, cruel, selfish weasel...God? Seriously? Way to dampen an amazing series, prick. Okay the author’s twisted (an understatement) view of his his beliefs...messed up, but, hey the story, magic, characters all are amazing. The loss of so many great characters, too...bummer. Several editing errors, LOTS of f bombs...lots, and still an amazing series... What a great series - loved the new world, new character types, the plot, the action, the humor, the characters. The author had great detail in creating a whole new type of setting and I loved the story and the freshness. I REALLY wanted to give it 5 stars, if only for one major drawback, at least for me. There was a good bit of gore, but that is to be somewhat expected when you have someone trying to end the world as it is known. I just couldn’t get past the (in my opinion) overuse of “the F word”. I understand the author developing a certain character and maintaining it through out, but wow... I don’t think I’ve ever read that word (and some very creative variations!) so many times in one book. Ever. If not for that, this would have definitely been a 5 star rating.
